Every Review Must Have Proof
Our fake review prevention begins with a simple criterion: every review must be backed by a transaction invoice or receipt. This invoice serves as the proof of the customer's visit or purchase from the business they're reviewing.
Making invoices a requirement alone prevents thousands of fake reviews from getting published to begin with. This makes our platform cleaner compared to traditional review platforms.

The second strategic action we take to prevent fake reviews is leveraging human judgement instead of algorithmic filters that are prone to errors. After we verify a customer’s invoice, our team of human auditors judges their review before it gets posted on the platform to ensure it’s authentic.
Because algorithms lack contextual awareness, they're prone to errors and are unable to judge reviews with precision, but human judgment ensures that every subtle sentiment and intent gets assessed precisely and fairly. This helps us prevent manipulative content, whether it's unfairly negative or positive.

A. Fair Review Verification
Our review verification system only allows genuine reviews to get published on business profiles—we never allow unfair reviews to bypass the system for monetization purposes. This helps:
Buyers learn the truth: People who are discovering new brands or learning about them can get to know their reputation by reading authentic reviews from previous customers, whether they are expressing frustrations or joys.
Protect businesses: With our review verification, businesses stay protected from the vast majority of fake reviews, unfair exaggerations, targeted attacks, and manipulative campaigns that aim to smear their reputation.

B. Fair Review Management
While our verification system stops most fake reviews, we let businesses take action against reviews they deem as unfair or fake through a moderated system of dispute credits.
Businesses can use their limited dispute credits to flag dispute-worthy reviews for The Trust Search to take down. However, no business can delete or modify any review themselves.
Our moderation team handles all flags themselves by evaluating the content and deciding what's most reasonable: the business's flagging or the customer's sentiment.

Our dual-verification system is designed to stop fake reviews from diluting your brand ratings.
AI Invoice Checking
When a user submits a review, our AI system immediately analyzes its invoice—to detect and stop fake reviews with modified or AI-generated invoices. At the same time, our AI system also completely redacts any sensitive personal data visible on the invoice.
Human Review Analysis
A human auditor reviews the submission for any violations against our Community Guidelines. The team carefully examines the user's account behavior, language patterns, and sentiment to make sure the feedback is sincere and conflict-free. Only after a review passes our human inspection do we publish it.
Unbiased Dispute Resolution
If a business flags a review—our team re-examines the review and the invoice proof, evaluates the business's claim, and contacts the reviewer for additional context if necessary. Unfounded disputes are dismissed to keep honest reviews live, whereas proven fake reviews are removed.
If the review is truthful / business claim is unfounded:
The review remains live and continues to affect the business's rating.
If the review is proven untruthful / business claim is proven true:
The review is taken down and it stops affecting the business's rating.
